The best thing that I ever did
Was to grab a good book,
Find the coziest nook,
Snuggle up, and sit with a kid.

You can learn about giant squid,
Fly to the moon,
or escape from a goon,
It’s exciting to sit with a kid.

Not to sermonize, heaven forbid,
But all will be fine,
The stars will align,
If you take time to sit with a kid.
