Sit With A Kid
As our logo, motto, and personal philosophy, we're here to engage kids and their mentors in reading together! We're a mother/daughter team based in Duluth, MN, with two award winning books to our name (including the first in the DoU Adventure series), as well as our brand new book One Gorilla.

School Visits
We would love to share our experience creating these books. As a mother/daughter team, we've co-written the DoU Adventures and Co-Founded SWAK Publishing. We've put together a unique school presentation for each book (from writing a mini-adventure with the kids, to Nikki's painting demo of a turtle right in front of them). We like sharing our collaboration and engaging children in reading. Please
